1.0.0Hand it your week, get a film back

Released August 17, 2026

The first release. Drop in a week of rides, your photos and your clips, and How It Went cuts them into something you can post.

A week of riding, and the days stay days

A frame of a film showing a pale map of the Karst with the route drawn across it, and the words "Sat, Aug 1" above "Rest day" in the middle.

Give it the activity files from a whole trip at once and the days come out of the timestamps. You do not number them and you do not say where the trip starts.

The day you spent off the bike stays in the film as a rest day, with its own card and its own date. Most tools quietly drop it, which turns a week with a rest day in it into six days pretending to be consecutive.

How it works today: How a trip is put together

Your longest climb counts in

A frame of a film over the Julian Alps with the ridden track in orange, an orange sheet standing under it, and the words "longest climb" above a counter reading 251 m. Tolmin, Kobarid, Bovec and Arnoldstein are named on the map.

A ring fills as you close on the longest climb of the day, then the meters take over and count. It is the one number in the film that arrives before the thing it describes.

Under the track is the wall, a sheet showing how high the line is off the ground. If you do not want it, it is a switch under Advanced on the Film screen, and its shadow goes with it.
